Restaurant Marmalade has long been the go-to hotspot for theatre goers at the famous Rep theatre, but after a new re-vamp, the restaurant is now being considered as a stand alone venue with a delicious new venue and open space that has been given a new lease of life.
The spacious outdoor terrance can hold up to 200 people, whilst being an aesthetically pleasing space for people to go and indulge in the atmospheric surroundings. The stylish decor form inside carries out onto this new terrace, with views stretching over the new developed Centenary Square making it a great spot for alfresco dining or if you’re really trying to impress the other half.
The new menu has tried to encapsulate its hearty Birmingham location by working closely with local businesses as well as artisan suppliers to ensure that customers are provided with the ultimate, modern and up-to-date dining experience. The new menu has something for everyone with vegan and gluten-free options available as well as environmentally sourced goods and suppliers to try and ensure the lowest environmentally damaging impact possible.
Restaurant marmalade have teamed up with new partners, local eco coffee provider, Iron & Fire as well as global brand Martini which will help bring some local additions to the drinks menu.
Live events will also take place throughout the summer with a series of music events running each Sunday.
Diners can indulge in dishes including Chicken & Pork Jambonette, Glazed Baby Carrots & Gooseberry Jam, a Sweet Potato Thai Curry, Mange Tout, Bok Choi, Shitake Mushrooms, Coconut Crisp & Fragrant Rice, or Battered Catch of the Day with Triple Cooked Chips. Those with a sweet tooth will also be well catered for, with desserts on offer like the Blueberry Frangipani with Vanilla Crème Fraiche; Apple and Rhubarb Crumble or Chocolate & Coffee Mousse with Chantilly Cream & Pecan Praline.
