The Muller Grand Prix and Muller British Athletics Championships are taking place this August in Birmingham
The Commonwealth games is still a few years away yet, but to get an idea of the level of competition and atmosphere, why not grab your tickets for either or these athletic events?
Some of the worlds top sportsmen and women are coming to Birmingham this summer so you can go and support your favourite athletes in the comfort of your own city.
Here’s all the information that you’ll need to know about the two events…
Muller Grand Prix Birmingham
The Muller Grand Prix Birmingham is a staple event in the IAAF Diamond league, bringing together the worlds best athletes in a compartmentalised day of world class talent and competition.
The event will be taking place at the Alexandra Stadium on Sunday August 18, 2019 and will be going on from 12pm to 5pm.
To get an idea of the standard of athletes who will be competing at the event, past athletes have included Mo Farah, David Rudisha and Valeria Adams.

Student discount offers are available at £20 instead of the standard £25 for adults aged 17-25 years.
Children under 2 don’t need a ticket but they will not have an allocated seat.
A family tickets costs £62 and this includes two adults and two children.
Muller British Athletics Championships
The Muller British Athletics Championship is a two-day event that acts as a gateway to the IAAF World Championships if successful in this event.
The event sees the very best of Britain, over 650 athletes, go head-to-head.
36 champions will come of the male and female days of events, and spectators an expect to see events such as the 100m to the hammer throw.

Ticket prices start at £20 for adults, seniors and student prices start at £15 and kids tickets are £5 each.
Children under two-years-old don’t need a ticket but they won’t be allocated a seat.
A family ticket for two adults and two kids costs £45.
