Digbeth was the first to open a Clean Kilo supermarket, but now a second is opening in Bournville, Birmingham.
The new Clean Kilo branch will be up and running as of September after being a massive hit with eco-minded shoppers in the area.
The precise location of the new eco-store is yet to be revealed, but help is being asked of the public and people willing to help offer a helping hand to get the shop going. The new shop especially needs help with painting, putting up signs, carpentry metalwork and labelling.
Founder of Clean Kilo, Tom Pell began the chain with the aim of trying to reduce waste and cut plastic out where possible in retail stores.

Everything in the shop is stored in various dispensers and shoppers are encouraged to recycle old bags to carry their purchases, or shoppers can buy receptacles.
Majority of the stock from Clean Kilo is sourced from local suppliers across the Midlands and the stores also make their own fresh orange juice and plant-based milks.
Fitting in with the zero waste culture of the shop 90% of the shop will used recycled and up-cycled materials which includes fridges, freezers, old floorboards and doors.
Anyone willing to help set up the Bournville store should get in contact with Clean Kilo via email at contact@thecleankilo.co.uk.
